Swindon Carers Centre is delighted that The Kentwood Choir will be performing a charity concert to raise funds for the Swindon Carers Centre Adult Carer and Parent Carer Services.

The concert is taking place on Friday 9th March at Christchurch, Old Town, SN1 3HG. There will be pre-concert refreshments from 6.30pm-7.30pm, with the concert taking place at 7.30pm-9pm. There will also be a guest appearance from Swindon Carers Centre’s very own Carers Choir!

The concert will see former Kentwood Choir member Abby Mansi working with Founder and Musical Director of the Kentwood Choir, Shelia Harrod. Abby was a member of the Kentwood Choir from an early age and has followed her passion for music by setting up several community choirs around Swindon, including Swindon Carers choir. The Carers Choir, made up entirely of carers from the Swindon area, is really looking forward to being involved in the concert and singing with the experienced Kentwood Choir.

The concert is open to the public, so everyone is welcome to attend – tickets are £5 per person and carers registered with Swindon Carers Centre have free entry.

Money raised from the concert will be used to support adult and parent carers in their caring roles across Swindon who are registered with Swindon Carers Centre.

If you would like to attend, please contact Emily or Becky at Swindon Carers Centre for tickets on 01793 531133 or email carers@swindoncarers.org.uk.
