Carers support line
We can answer any questions and give you someone to speak to when you need it most.
At Swindon Carers Centre, we understand the unique challenges you face as an unpaid parent carer and the toll it can take on your physical and emotional well-being. Our support is here to help you navigate the complexities of your caregiving role, while also empowering you to pursue your own goals and aspirations. We’re committed to helping you find a balance that works for you and your family.
Our compassionate team takes the time to listen and understand each carer’s unique situation, offering a safe and welcoming space to decompress, share their experiences, and access opportunities for personal growth and enjoyment.
Our approach involves a clear, supportive process:
We can answer any questions and give you someone to speak to when you need it most.
We offer more comprehensive support in person or by phone or email, depending on what works best for you.
Our team can help you access financial support and help you apply for a variety of services/benefits.
Once you are registered as a carer, you can join our community of unpaid carers and meet other carers at our events, workshops and groups.
Our team can help you prepare an emergency plan for your dependent via the emergency card scheme.
We offer compassionate bereavement support to help carers navigate the emotional challenges of losing their cared for while adjusting to life after caring.
If our team cannot support you with your caring needs, we will put you in contact with someone who can.
Join a community that truly understands you. At Swindon Carers Centre, we host events shaped by your feedback, connect you with a supportive network of local unpaid carers, and amplify your voice through our influential carers forum. Your opinion matters - be part of the change and find the support you deserve.
