Welfare and Benefits

There are many different welfare and benefits available for carers and their cared for depending on individual need and circumstances.

Our Benefits Service offers benefits and welfare advice for carers. We want to ensure that carers understand what benefits and welfare they may be entitled to and assist with making claims. We also offer assistance with filling in claim forms and completing benefits checks.

If you’re not sure what you are entitled to, if you want to know how to apply for different benefits and welfare or you think you have been unfairly refused a benefit and want to find out what you can do please contact us.

The Benefits Advice Line is open for all carers over the age of 18 including the families of young carers.
